넥센타이어 창녕 생산 및 연구시설
국내 최초 자동차용 타이어를 생산한 넥센타이어는 양산, 중국 청도에 이어 제3공장을 창녕에 유치, 세계 타이어 시장의 변화에 빠르게 대응하는 고품질 고부가가치 공장을 목표로 최신 설비와 전 공정 자동화를 이루었다.
4단계 증축 계획을 세워 연간 2100만 본까지 생산 가능한 공장으로 설계되었으며 2015년 5월 준공되었다.
NEXEN Tire, which produced the first automotive tires in Korea, attracted a
3rd plant in Changnyeong following mass production and Qingdao, China, and
achieved the latest facilities and automation of all processes with the aim of
a high-quality, high-value-added factory that responds quickly to changes in
the global tire market. It was designed as a factory that can produce up to 21
million copies a year with a four-stage expansion plan and was completed in
May 2015.
