미국 조지아주 잭슨 카운티 Jackson County에 9.8GWh 규모의 배터리 공장을 금년 초 착공하여 단계적 투자를 통해 장차 북미시장에서 국내 공급사 중 가장 큰 생산량을 확보하겠다고 발표하였으며, 당사에서 1단계 설계를 일괄 진행 중이다. 2006년부터 진행한 기아자동차 미국공장을 시작으로 금호타이어, 현대모비스, 한화큐셀 등 산업시설 설계를 최단시간에 현지 방식으로 수행한 당사의 풍부한 실적과 노하우를 바탕으로 본 프로젝트를 수주하게 되었으며 한국과 미국 지사 실시간 협업 및 전사적 역량 투입으로 본 프로젝트를 수행하고 있다.

By groundbreaking the 9.8GWh battery plant in Jackson County, Georgia in the year of 2018, SK Innovation announced that the plant would secure the largest production volume in the North American market throughout the phased investment. Since the Kia Motors' U.S. plant design in 2006, we, the M.A.P group, won this project with rich performance and know-how in designing industrial facilities achieved by the Kumho Tire, Hyundai Mobis and Hanwha QCells' manufacturing facilities in the shortest amount of time. this project is being conducted between Korea and the U.S. branches by real time cooperation.
